The gopuram doubled in the tank, which is the view the temple is built to give. Sandhya Kaushik keeps the tower's tiers as stacked ochre and rose blocks rather than carved detail, then breaks the reflection into short, disturbed strokes so the water reads as water and not as a mirror. Devotees on the steps are warm marks at the base.
